“Just building the access road before anything else could happen, would have fazed many of us. Then the need for power, water, toilet facilities, and for parking areas not only for cars but also for caravans and campers, all required careful estimation and commissioning. The marquee and its furnishings were a picture, the food and drinks as good as a top class restaurant could have provided, the dance floor and music just right, indeed it is hard to think of any way things could have been better.”
